Trump approves military action against cartel terrorist organizations

President Donald Trump secretly authorized the military force against the Latin American drug cartels designated by the United States as foreign terrorist organizations, reports.
This decision, reported by the New York Times, would give us permission of the forces to engage the cartels, that the circulation of drugs as fetanyl through the American-Mexican border,
“The president is determined not only to dismantle – but to destroy completely – (Venezuelan dictator Nicolas) Maduro’s Cartel of Los Soles and erase their operations in the western hemisphere,” said a source close to the White House, the New York Post reported.

The anti-Cartel effort is coordinated among several departments, notably the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Justice, the Department of Internal Security, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the Treasury, added the source.
“The absolute priority of President Trump is to protect the homeland, which is why he has taken the bold step to designate several cartels and gangs as foreign terrorist organizations,” said Deputy Secretary of the White House, Anna Kelly, in a statement to Fox News Digital.

“It has nothing to do with Mexican territory,” she said. “It has to do with their country. This does not imply our territory.”

A few weeks after taking office, the White House announced the extradition of 29 members of various Mexican drug cards.
