Trump this week shocked the international community when he overthrew his position on the war in Ukraine and said that he thought that Kyiv could resume all his occupied lands that have been seized by Russia.
“I think that Ukraine, with the support of the European Union, is able to fight and regain all of Ukraine in its original form,” he said on social networks on Tuesday.
“Over time, the patience and financial support of Europe and, in particular, NATO, the original borders of the place where this war started, is an option,” added Trump. “Why not?”
