Zelenskyy thanks European support for the inclusion of Ukraine in Trump-Putin’s discussions

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy On Sunday, Sunday, European leaders supported his effort to join the American summit of Russia this week, while kyiv fears that Washington and Moscow will conclude an agreement to end the war, but in a way that undermines the sovereignty of Ukraine.

“The United States has the power to force Russia to seriously negotiate,” the head of the EU foreign policy Kaja Kallas said on Sunday. “Any agreement between the United States and Russia must have Ukraine and the EU included, because it is a question of Ukraine and all the security of Europe,” she added.

The White House and the Kremlin recognized Zelenskyy’s request to join the talks, although no official invitation was issued. Trump and Poutine should meet in Alaska on August 15. If Zelenskyy was to participate, the meeting would mark the first between Putin and Zelenskyy since the start of the Moscow War.

Although Dmitriev has not appointed specific countries, he warned that criticisms of the coming talks could seek to sabotage the summit through diplomatic maneuvers or disinformation through the media.
