XI declares the “great rejuvenation” of unstoppable China to the military parade

President Xi Jinping said the “big rejuvenation” of China on Wednesday, while using the country’s largest military parade to refer to Taiwan and to display advanced weapons designed to compete with American power.
XI said that the People’s Army of Liberation (PLA) “would resolutely protect national sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity”, stressing Beijing’s ambitions towards Taiwan. “The great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation is unstoppable,” he added.
The 70 -minute show marked the 80th anniversary of Japan’s surrender in the Second World War. Thousands of troops have covered the goose through Tiananmen square, followed by columns of tanks, missile and drone carriers.
XI has fixed several times 2027, the 100th anniversary of the APL, as a deadline for military modernization – a calendar that US officials could coincide with the preparations for an invasion of Taiwan.

China has shown its full nuclear triad – missiles launched from land, sea and air. This included the intercontinental DF-41 ballistic missile, capable of traveling 12,400 miles, putting the American continent within range.
Analysts paid particular attention to what seemed to be a new DF-61 hypersonic missile transported on a WS2400 truck. The weapon would be designed to go beyond the defenses of American missiles. Ballistic missiles launched by submarine and long-range bombers completed the display of the nuclear muscle.
The PLA also deployed stealth drones- such as the GJ-11 “Sword” UCAV and other “loyal” loyal “drones- alongside improved AI tanks, hypersonic weapons, underwater drones and other futuristic systems.
Amphibious assault vehicles alluded to the preparations for a possibility of Taiwan. Beijing also highlighted the capacities of the Cyber and the Space, signaling ambitions beyond the conventional battlefields.
XI looked at the procession flanked by Russian President Vladimir Putin and the North Korean leader Kim Jong UN – A Solidarity Signal not so subtle among American adversaries.

After the parade, Putin and Kim met behind closed doors for two hours. Putin thanked Kim for supporting Russia war in Ukraine, Chinese state media reported.
President Donald Trump weighed on Truth Social, directly speaking to XI: “Please give Vladimir Putin my best agreements, and Kim Jong Un, while you conspire against the United States of America.”
About two dozen world leaders have watched since the stands, including Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. Only two heads of state in Europe – Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico – accepted China’s invitation, while the Western allies remained wide away.

The Taiwanese president Lai Ching-Te has rejected the show as “psychological intimidation”.
The show of force occurred only a few months after the United States organized its own military parade in Washington to mark the 250th anniversary of the army, in a signal that China intends to equal and finally to go beyond American military power.
