The Senator of the Texas Gop State, Mayes Middleton, told Fox News Digital that the issues could not be higher with regard to the combat of redistribution of the Republicans with the Democrats in Texas, arguing that the effort to restart cards to Texas could “save America”.
Middleton stressed that if the results of the mid-term elections of 2026 led to another thin majority like the Republicans, the “will” know “congress that the Texas redistribution bill was responsible for the GOP retaining its power. Meanwhile, despite the Democrats’ attempts to stop the Gop redistribution effort by fleeing the state, Middleton has expressed little fear that these challenges would constitute anything.
“Literally, this redistribution bill could save this whole nation. This is why this fight is so important to me,” said Middleton. “I will fight with everything in me to make sure that this card becomes the law, and we get these five more republican seats … It could literally save America.”

Despite the challenges, according to Middleton, he did not express his concerns about the efforts of the Democrats to challenge the republican redistribution bill, which included dozens of Democrats from the Chamber of Texas fleeing the State to prevent the legislator from being able to lead official affairs.
He described their challenge as “merit”, stressing that disputes from his county of origin of Galveston who noted that the “districts of the coalition” – formed districts by combining several minority groups to reach a majority – were in violation of the law on voting rights. Consequently, Democrats cannot claim the obligation to create such districts to preserve minority voting power, according to the Republicans.
“Before the case for Piteway was decided, you could mainly add various minority groups to exceed 50%, then, under the interpretation (Democrats) of the Voting Rights Act, they said it was a protected district,” said Middleton. “And it started when the Court of County Commissioners of Galveston restarted, and the last Democrat of the Court of Commissioners was drawn from his duties, and they continued and said that it was racist. But yet, shortly after, perhaps a month later, Harris County restarted and fired a republican, and they said that it was.

Civil arrest mandates were issued by the republican majority of the Texas Chamber earlier this week in order to force the absent democrats to return, but they are only enforceable in state lines and do not lead to prison terms, because the mandates are not criminals. However, the Texas Republican Prosecutor General Ken Paxton called an Illinois court, where a large part of the Democrats in the Texas Chamber fled, to enforce the mandates against the Democrats.
In addition to blocking the Républicains Républicains Rediscussing bill, the Exodus of the Democrats of Texas prevents crucial legislation from making its way through the Legislative Assembly, Middleton told Fox News Digital.

Middleton stressed that a bill was selected, Bill 7 of the Senate, which aims to protect entirely female spaces against biological men who identify themselves as transgender women. Others include the prohibition of lobbying funded by taxpayers, a bill on the application of electoral crime and critical legislation on the alleviation of floods.
“These are the conservative priorities that we were elected to do. And the Democrats, of course, are looking for ways to block who are illegal,” said Middleton. “Frankly, they do it in a way that will lead to the release of their office if they do not come back.”
