Exclusive: The republican candidate for the Ohio governor, Vivek Ramaswamy, told Fox News Digital that the violent assault Cincinnati city center Early Saturday morning, “hit near you”.
The brutal attack on Fourth Street and Elm Street sparked national indignation, including national leaders such as Senator Bernie Moreno, R-Ohio, and vice-president JD Vance after the now viral video on social media.

“More importantly, we pray for its recovery,” Ramaswamy told Fox News Digital in an exclusive interview. “It was sad to look. And one of the things that surprised me, despite the number of times this video had been seen across the country and beyond, she told me that I was the first state or a local official who had stretched out, and she appreciated this.”

Ramaswamy, who was born and grew up in Cincinnati, said that this incident should be “alarm clock to explain why we have to approach the wave of violent crimes across the country”.
A lonely shooter killed four people, including an officer of the New York Police Department (NYPD) on Monday afternoon in New York, renewing national public security problems.
Ramaswamy said he “touched the sensitive rope” to see a violent incident playing in his hometown of Cincinnati.

“I think that part of the reason she drew attention is that she struck a cheek that was going far beyond this incident and what people see in ruined cities across the country, due to poor, rare and poor anti-political policies and poor left direction,” said Ramaswamy about the Ohio assault.
The business manager deplored that “it has not always been in Cincinnati, and he does not need to be”.
“The tone of leadership begins at the top,” said Ramaswamy. “We need leaders who are ready not to be subject to the representation of the rule of law. I will not apologize for supporting the police.”
The former candidate and republican businessman for the presidential election told Fox News Digital that the main lesson he learned from his conversation with Holly is that “we have to bring common sense”.

“Bring back the rational police presence in our cities and do it in a way that unites people around security, rather than seeing tragedies like the one that took place in Cincinnati this weekend,” said Ramaswamy.
More specifically, as governor, the republican candidate told Fox News Digital that the common sense reform includes the reallocation of resources for greater police presence and equipping it with police officers of more training to do their work effectively.
If it is elected next year, Ramaswamy said: “We are going to give the example of what it looks like in Ohio”, stressing the importance of strong leadership at the top, by moving culture to a person who favors the rule of law.

“We have to listen to the people we direct, listen with empathy, but to channel even the most negative experiences to have positive solutions, and this is the tone that I seek to give in our state,” said Ramaswamy about his conversation with Holly.
The candidate for the post of governor and Ohioan Native described Holly as a “single mother who went to the birthday party of a friend”, in his post Monday evening.
“It is unacceptable that there is no police present in this Cincinnati district on Friday evening, or even an ambulance to take him to the hospital. The Americans who work hard should not have to worry about their security when they spend a good time in our cities,” he continued.

“Holly appreciates the words and the kind prayers of the patriots across the country, and hopes that advertising around its history guarantees that local and state leaders clean our failing cities. We hope to visit Holly as soon as she recovers,” said Ramaswamy.
