The candidate for the Democratic Governor of Virginia, Abigail Spanberger, took $ 50,000 to a Chinese businessman linked to the Chinese Communist Party (CPC), according to the campaign financing registers.

The donations came into two payments of $ 25,000 in April and May of Pin Ni, president of Wanxiang America, the American branch of the Chinese automotive conglomerate group Wanxiang, which has profound links with the PCC.

A spokesperson for the WinSome Earle-Sears campaign told Fox News that Spanberger “felt international interests again.”

In October 2024, Pin donated to the National Republican National Committee and the “Pac Purpure” of the Democratic Senator of New Jersey Cory Booker.
