First on Fox: Virginia’s prosecutor General Jason Miyares criticized his Democratic opponent and a county prosecutor, arguing that their actions allowed the repetition of the sex offender Richard Cox to “hunt little girls” and to engage in additional pedophile behavior.

COX, which has a sex offender leaf dating from the George HW Bush administration, has recently been identified as transgender and would have been subjected to a woman’s complaint in a Fairfax gymnasium alleging an indecent exhibition in a wardrobe.

But in comments to Fox News Digital, Miyares said that some of the recent recent transgressions of Cox could have been prevented if they themselves. Jerrauld “Jay” Jones had not supported an invoice to allow applicants of driving license to choose their own sex.

“Jay Jones is an accomplice, allowing the healing of the countless victims who watched Richard Cox have exposed several times under the protection of a bill for which he voted,” said Miyares.

Jones – The Miyares Democratic opponent in November – was as a state delegate representing Norfolk when he voted in 2020 to modify the Virginia code as such via SB 246.

Then-gov. Ralph Northam signed the legislation, which was presented by chance by a legislator of the county of Fairfax, the head of the majority of the Senate Scott Surovell, D-Mount Vernon.

“The inability to protect these women and these young girls is directly with those who pleaded for this bill,” said Miyares.

“This bill began to endure its bitter fruits, directly leading to tragedies committed by level III sex offender, Richard Cox,” he added, pointing out that republicans have warned that the law would give criminal the ability to “use their sex on their identity emitted by the State as a bypass of the understanding that the spaces of women are sacred and reserved for them”.

“Richard Cox should never have been able to access a female space.”

When women in a gymnasium in Fairfax complained of the bare presence of Cox in their locker room, Cox said he was transgender, because Miyares said he had used his ID from Virginia State which had been marked “woman” to access such facilities on June 6, 2024.

“The lawyer for the Commonwealth of Fairfax County refused to continue this case,” he said.

More recently, Cox was charged in the county of Arlington for exposing himself in a leisure center and the locker room of the secondary school, but the prosecutors of the county of neighboring Fairfax did not pursue similar allegations.

Miyares told the affiliate of ABC de Washington that the lawyer for the county of Fairfax, Steve Descano, continues to “refuse to initiate procedures against Cox … despite multiple exposure incidents”.

Miyares also revealed that Cox would have asked young girls in public parks, to the point that he would have created schedules on his phone to meet a swimming team for girls while they were traveling in the region.

“Let’s be clear – Richard Cox hunted little girls in Fairfax County – What will it take for Steve Descano to do his job?”

Descano, an elected democrat, was criticized for the discretionary power of allegedly lax proceedings, including in cases involving transgender people and including a different sex offender in Fair Oaks Mall near John Foster Dulles International Airport.

Virginie Glenn Youngkin’s governor castigated Fairfax officials and asked Miyares separately to investigate their Treatment as Jaldin, who had just been released from prison. Jalddin has been charged in 30 cases since 2016, according to the local FairfaxNow store, which also reported that Descano had abandoned two accusations of “malicious injury” last year.

Heads of the county of Arlington originally democratic, however, go ahead with their file against Cox, after the prosecutors declared having found juvenile pornography and swimming hours of the county of Fairfax on his phone, according to local affiliate ABC.

When he was contacted to comment, a Descano representative directed Fox News Digital to a separate declaration of the Fairfax County Police Department:

“The FCPD conducted a complete criminal investigation into the actions of Richard Cox and there is no probable cause to support the accusations in the county of Fairfax at the moment.”

However, the only republican of the Board of Directors of the County of Fairfax of 10 members criticized the prosecutor in comments to the ABC affiliate.

“It is the policy of the Council of Supervisors that allowed this to happen and continues to allow this to happen today,” said Herrity, who briefly directed this cycle for Lieutenant-Governor.

Miyares listed other allegations against Cox, including an assertion that he exposed himself to a mother and child at Washington-Liberty High School in Arlington, and repeated visits to children’s locker rooms in high school pools and women’s locker rooms in local gymnasiums.

He also returned the Descano office to the Ministry of Justice to 17 previous cases of lax or non-culture, according to Alexandria Hoff de Fox News.
