Vigil aux candles honore Charlie Kirk on the ASU campus after the assassination

A candlelit vigil in Desert Financial Arena on the Arizona State University campus on Monday underlined the heritage of Charlie Kirk. The campus is a few kilometers from the USA turning point seat.
Volunteers wore “I am Charlie” t-shirts, and many participants wore red, including Maga hats, to show their support for the conservative chief killed.
The speakers used the time to channel tragedy in activism and share the Christian faith, including many of his close friends and colleagues.

“2026 will be the election of Charlie Kirk. 2028 will be the election of Kirk-Vance,” said that Tyler Bowyer, who runs a turning point, said the volunteers recorded voters during the events. Bowyer encouraged people to use tragedy as an opportunity to become active in the conservative movement, specifically calling people to register to vote.
Peter Gentala, president of the Center for Arizona policy, said that it was “personal” when a “great man dies”, speaking highly about the influence that Kirk had in the state of the Grand Canyon and the Nation.
Sometimes the participants chanted “Charlie” and “USA” during the vigil organized by the Republicans section of the college of Arizona State University and Tpusa.

“Act. Start a chapter Turning Point, get involved in a chapter turning point, register to vote, record other people to vote and share your faith with others,” Troy Holderby, president of the Republicans of the ASU college, in Fox News Digital.
“This will change the game for our whole country. We will see substantial quantities of people coming to vote for our country because Charlie Kirk cared about it.”
Luke Mosiman, president of the young republicans of Arizona, told Fox News Digital that this tragedy could be a determining moment for the Z generation because Kirk had a strong influence among young Americans.

“So many people are looking at this right now, and they realize that American culture and the left as a whole have rotting the ability of America to have a dialogue, and I think Gen Z will hold the ideas of the first amendment,” he added.
After Kirk’s assassination on Wednesday, his coffin was transported by plane on Air Force Two to Phoenix, where a major celebration service is scheduled for Sunday at the Glendale Farm Stadium, Arizona. Bowyer said on Tuesday that voters’ registration efforts will be underway at the Sunday event.

“County Recorder (Justin Heap) provides as many voters registration forms as for the celebration of Charlie’s life this Sunday.
Large commemorative screens have been installed outside the Hansen mortuary chapel, where his coffin takes place, as well as outside the Tpusa seat in South Phoenix. A 19 -year -old man faces accusations of vandalism for having pretended to destroy the memorial on Sunday, which was seen by Fox News cameras.
