The first American airline announced that it would take flights to Israel in the middle of the current ceasefire between the Jewish state and Iran.

United Airlines said he would take flights to Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv, Israel, New York / Newark on July 21, with flights twice a day returning the next day.

The airline based in Chicago interrupted the flights last month, with its last flight one day before “Rising Lion Operation” on June 11.

American Airlines has not served Tel Aviv since October 6, 2023 – one day before Hamas’ terrorist attack.

“American continuously assesses its network and we have nothing new to share at the moment concerning the service of Tel Aviv,” said an American spokesperson.

The State Department always has a travel notice to “reconsider travel” in Israel, citing terrorism and civil disturbances, and “does not travel” in northern Israel.
