Turning Point elects Erika Kirk as a new CEO, Chairman of the Board of Directors

Turning Point USA announced Thursday that he had “unanimously elected” the widow of Charlie Kirk, Erika Kirk, as a new CEO and chairman of the organization’s board of directors.
“In previous discussions, Charlie expressed to several leaders that this was what he wanted in the event of death,” said the organization in an article on X.
Charlie Kirk was shot dead on September 10 while he speaks during an event at the University of Utah Valley.
“It was the honor of our lives to serve as members of the Board of Directors alongside Charlie,” said the current USA Turning Point Council in a Declaration published Thursday. “Charlie has prepared us all for a while like this. He worked tirelessly to make sure that Turning Point USA has been built to survive even the biggest tests. And now, it is our great pride to announce Erika Kirk as a new CEO and president of the Table for Turning Point USA.”

“The life of Charlie Kirk testified to faith, courage and conviction,” said a website for the event. “Since his early days, he believed that America was worth fighting, and he devoted every moment of his 31 years to this cause. He lived with eyes fixed on eternity, founded in the truth of the Word of God, and led by a greater appeal than himself.”
