Vice-president JD Vance defended President Donald Trump on Iran on Monday in response to what he described as “crazy” accusations on social networks.
“Listen, I see this from the inside, and I am certainly biased towards our president (and my friend), but there are a lot of crazy things on social networks, so I wanted to approach certain things directly on the question of Iran,” wrote Vance on X.
He said Trump “was incredibly consistent for 10 years that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.

“In the past few months, he has encouraged his foreign policy team to conclude an agreement with the Iranians to achieve this objective. The president clearly indicated that Iran cannot have an enrichment of uranium. And he said on several occasions that this would happen in two ways – the easy way or” way “.”
The vice-president said he saw “a lot of confusion” online on the question of “civil nuclear energy” and “enrichment of uranium”.
“These are distinct problems. Iran could have civil nuclear power without enrichment, but Iran rejected this,” said Vance. “Meanwhile, they enriched uranium well above the level necessary for any civil purpose. They were found in violation of their non-proliferation obligations by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which is hardly a right organization.
“It is one thing to want civil nuclear energy. It is another thing to demand an ability to enrich sophisticated. And it is yet another to cling to enrichment while simultaneously violating basic obligations without proliferation and by enriching the law to the point of quality uranium.”

Vance said that he had not yet seen “a single good argument to explain why Iran needed to enrich uranium well above the threshold for civil use” and “for why Iran was justified to violate its non-proliferation obligations”.
“I have not yet seen only one good decline against the conclusions of the AIEA,” he wrote. “Meanwhile, the president has shown a remarkable restriction to keep the accent of our soldiers on the protection of our troops and the protection of our citizens. He may decide that he must take additional measures to put an end to Iranian enrichment. This decision finally belongs to the president.
“And of course, people are right to worry about the foreign tangle after the last 25 years of silly foreign policy. But I believe that the president has gained some confidence on this issue. And after seeing this closely and personal, I can assure you that he is only interested in using the American army to achieve the objectives of the American people. All it does is its goal.”
Trump took social truth on Tuesday to call for an “unconditional surrender” of Iran on the fifth day since Israel launched its preventive attacks against Iranian nuclear sites and leadership.

“We know exactly where the so-called” supreme chief “hides”, wrote Trump on Tuesday in an article on social networks. “It is an easy target, but it is sure there – we are not going to take it out (kill!), At least not for the moment. But we do not want missiles to be fired on civilians or American soldiers. Our patience is thin. Thank you for your attention to this affair!”
Trump said on Tuesday that the United States and Israel had “complete and total control of the sky on Iran”.
