President Donald Trump has targeted senator Susan Collins, R-Maine, in a social post of truth on Thursday evening, urging the Republicans to vote in the opposite of the way she does it.

“The Republicans, in doubt, vote exactly the opposite of Senator Susan Collins. In general, you cannot be mistaken. Thank you for your attention to this question and, make America again!” The president said in the job.

Fox News Digital contacted the Collins office early Friday morning to request a comment from the senator.

Last month, Collins voted against the adoption of the One Big Beautiful Bill law and against the adoption of a measure of involvement, which finally signed Trump.

Earlier this year, she voted against the confirmation of Pete Hegseth to serve as a defense secretary and against the confirmation of Kash Patel to be director of the FBI.

In February 2021, she voted to condemn Trump after the Chamber welcomed her following the riot of Capitol on January 6, but this Senate vote, which occurred after Trump had already left his duties, did not reach the threshold necessary for the conviction.
