Trump threatens the opponent against Massie, calls him “Rand Paul Junior”

President Donald Trump criticized Kentucky’s Republican Republican representative Thomas Massie, for his opposition to the “big and beautiful bill” while the mass gap erased one of his last obstacles on Tuesday before he expects to land on Trump’s office by the deadline for July.

Trump told Air Force One media that he predicts that Massie will be “the story” of the primary season.

Trump spoke to the media after landing in the national capital after a short trip to the Florida Everglades to visit a new illegal detention center on immigrants nicknamed “Alligator Alcatraz”. The Senate adopted the “big and beautiful bill” while Trump spoke in a round table at the detention center.

Trump had joined the Republican legislators to adopt the budget reconciliation bill since its inauguration, celebrating that it will make its tax program progress, immigration, energy, defense and national debt. The vast majority of republican legislators voted in support of various versions of the bill, while a handful of Republicans such as Massie, Paul, the Senator of North Carolina Thom Tillis and the Senator of Maine Susan Collins rejected the support of the adoption of the legislation.

Massie, in particular, made a boost in support of the legislation while he was in the House earlier in 2025, citing that he would add 20 billions of dollars of the federal debt over 10 years.

Musk added in a post X that he plans to support Massie’s re -election campaign.

Trump added in his Air Force remarks that he does not “think” in “Massie when he was asked if he was trying to make an example of the legislator.
