President Donald Trump said on the campaign track that he wanted to “do not” the alliance between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
But the extremely complex geopolitical dynamics aroused a question whether Trump can draw an “reverse kissinger” and cause a modern version of the sino-soviet split.
“I think there are many ways that this alliance could be fractured,” Trump’s Digital News and Trump Chief of Trump and Chief of the National Security Council of the President told Fox News Chief.

Flitz underlined the recent talks between the Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and his Chinese counterparts in Stockholm and said that pushing China to stop buying Russian or opposite Russian prices was an itinerary that could be effective in trying to drive a corner.
But Chinese officials have doubled in their support for Moscow, and at a July meeting with the Chinese Foreign Minister Wany Yi and the EU diplomatic chief, Kaja Kallas, Fox News Digital confirmed that the Chinese official clearly indicated that he was not in the interest of China to see Russia to lose war.
The Chinese Embassy has not answered questions from Fox News Digital concerning what Beijing would consider to be a “loss” for Russia or why it is in the interest of China to see Russia win in its illegal invasion of Ukraine.

But the reports have suggested that China fears that Russia will lose war or, at least, a cessation of hostilities would release the United States and its allies to focus more on China.
Flitz argued that the basic strategy to break the Putin-Xe alliance, that the two have publicly sworn is solid, should not focus on the attempt to repel China from Russia.
“The Russians and the Chinese do not love each other,” said Fleitz, highlighting a decision in 2023 by the Chinese Ministry of Natural Resources when he called the Historical Chinese names to be included alongside current Russian names on maps representing his oriental border areas. “The Chinese have in fact changed their cards in the Far East to add Chinese names to the Russian cities because one day, I think, China gives the message that they will bring the Russian territories to the Far East.
“We have to assert this point in Putin. He has a much better future for Russia, reinstating himself in the West and Europe as a stand in order rather than falling into the arms of the Chinese, who are not at heart the best interests of Russia,” said Fleitz, who is vice-president of America First Policy Institute for American Security.

The theory according to which to reconcile in Putin could be the ticket to break his alliance with XI was nicknamed the “Kissinger inverted” as a head of head to Henry Kissinger who, from 1972, alongside President Richard Nixon, improved relations with China in a decision to isolate the USSR further.
Trump, to a certain extent, has already tried this approach, as evidenced by his insistence that diplomacy was the best way to follow with Putin, his initial reproach of the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as “ungrateful” and his apparent understanding of the reason why Putin invaded Ukraine when it was the supposed threats posed by NATO.
Until now, the objectives of the Putin war have not been discouraged and China, which for years has taken a publicly neutral position with regard to the war in Ukraine, has increasingly expressed its support for Russia despite Western pressure.
But Flitz argued that this strategy would take time.
“It will be difficult,” he said. “But, first of all, our policy with Russia began in a bad situation for Trump.
“There was no dialogue between Putin and Biden after Russia invaded Ukraine,” added Fleitz, noting that despite the surface comments, the conflicts between Russia and China are preparing.

The reports in June disclosed by the Russian intelligence agency known as FSB apparently showed that Moscow Nicknamed Beijing “the enemy” And is aware of his efforts to access the best military technologies by recruiting Russian spies, often disillusioned with Russian scientists.
Although reports have suggested that Russia consider China as a strategic partner to counter the West, Beijing is known to have played a long game, and Moscow’s dependence on the Chinese Communist Party, because one of its rare allies could prove to be a future vulnerability.
“There are recently press articles on how China hopes Russia and takes advantage of this relationship to advance Chinese security,” said Fleitz. “We must assert this point to the Russians on each occasion – the Chinese are not your friend.
“You must conclude an agreement with Donald Trump.”
