Trump says ‘incompetent’ Illinois governor and ‘no better’ Chicago mayor should call on him for help on crime.

The violent weekend came days after a man with a lengthy criminal history was accused of mercilessly setting a woman on fire while on a Chicago train.

Lawrence Reed, 50, who authorities say “had no business being on the streets,” is accused of committing a terrorist attack or other acts of violence against a public transit system.

Footage from the train shows the suspect allegedly approaching behind the woman and pouring the liquid over her head and body.

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson later called the train attack an “isolated incident.”
