Trump says “I think we have an agreement” at the end of the War of Israel-Hamas in Gaza

President Donald Trump said on Friday that “I think we have an agreement” to end the War of Israel-Hamas.
“It seems that we have an agreement on Gaza, and we will let you know. I think it is an agreement that will bring the hostages back. This will be an agreement that will end the war,” Trump told journalists by leaving the White House.
“It will be peace,” added the president. “I think we have an agreement.”
Trump unveiled a 21 -point initiative to end the Gaza War during meetings with Arab leaders on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly Earlier this week.

“The president stressed his desire to bring the fights to Gaza to a quick fence,” said a White House official at Fox News Digital. “The American special envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff summed up the American plan for Gaza, including the return of all living and deceased hostages, not other attacks against Qatar, a new dialogue between Israel and the Palestinians for a peaceful coexistence and more.”
“The foreign partners expressed a large agreement that President Trump was the only one who was able to end the fighting in Gaza and expressed the hope that they could work with the special Witkoff envoy to examine the president’s plan while the Americans continue to engage with Israeli officials,” added the White House official.

Speaking at the annual Concordia summit in New York, Witkoff described on Tuesday a “very productive” meeting between Trump and officials of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Indonesia and Pakistan.
“We presented what we call the Trump plan in 21 points for peace in the Middle East“Said Witkoff.” I think this responds to Israeli concerns as well as the concerns of neighbors in the region. “
The president of the Palestinian authority Mahmoud Abbas, speaking in a registered UNGA address after being barred from entry to the United Statesalso reported the support.
“We declare that we are ready to work with American president Donald Trump and with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and France, the United Nations and all the partners to implement the peace plan which was approved at the conference held on September 22, in a way that would lead to just peace and regional cooperation,” said Abbas.

Abbas added that the Palestinian authority is ready to resume security and governance in Gaza, while Hamas must disarm.
