Trump says he is “ always ” for a legal struggle while Cook signals the trial on Ester

In the wake of the unprecedented abolition of a governor of the federal reserve, president Donald Trump Doubled on Tuesday his decision, saying that he was “still” ready for a legal struggle after the Governor passed out, Lisa Cook, reported that she would pursue legal action.
“She seems to have had an offense and she cannot have an offense. And especially this offense because it is in charge, if you think about it, the mortgages. We need people who are 100% above the board of directors, and it does not seem to be it,” said Trump, referring to the alleged misconduct of Cook in obtaining mortgage loans.
The federal reserve recognized a potential legal action by Cook and declared in a press release that the American Central Bank “would respect any court decision”.
“Lisa Cook indicated through her personal lawyer that she would quickly dispute this legal action and request a judicial decision which would confirm her ability to continue to assume his responsibilities as a member confirmed by the Senate of the Council of Governors of the Federal Reserve System,” wrote a spokesperson for the Federal Reserve in a declaration to Fox News Digital.

The potential cook’s withdrawal from the Fed board of directors leaves an open seat on the panel that guides the country’s monetary policy. This gives Trump another opportunity to appoint a person closely aligned with his financial policy at the Fed.
When he was asked to replace Cook on the Fed card, Trump told journalists at the White House that he had “very good people for this position”.

Trump accused Cook – who was appointed by former president Joe Biden In 2022 and was the first black woman to sit on the Council of Fed Governors – Mortgage fraud on Monday evening. Cook denied any reprehensible act.
The allegations arise from Bill Pulte, A named against Trump to an agency that regulates Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Pulte accused Cook of claiming two main residences, one to Ann Arbor and another in Atlanta in 2021, in order to obtain better mortgage conditions.

On August 15, Pulte sent a criminal referral to the Ministry of Justice concerning Cook in which he accused it of falsification of banking documents and property files.
In the current state of things, Trump says that Cook is dismissed, in force immediately. But Cook and his lawyer, Abbe Lowell, argue that he has no legal authority to remove it. His mandate on the Fed board of directors takes place until January 2038.

“President Trump brought social media to once more” fire by tweet “and once again his reflex to the intimate is defective and his requests have no process, basic or appropriate legal authority,” Lowell said in a shared statement with Fox News Digital.
“We will take all the necessary measures to prevent his attempt at illegal action,” added Lowell.
