Trump responds to the new Charlie Kirk was shot down during the event

President Donald Trump offered his condolences to the Kirk family after announcing that the founder of Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk, died after the conservative figure was shot in UTA.
“The big, and even legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead,” said Trump in an article on social networks on Wednesday. “No one understood or had better the hearts of young people in America than Charlie. He was loved and admired by all, especially me, and now he is no longer with us. Melania and my sympathies go to his beautiful wife Erika, and to the family. Charlie, we love you!”
Earlier Wednesday, Trump called for prayers for Kirk and described it as a “big guy”.

“We must all pray for Charlie Kirk, who has been shot. A big guy from top to bottom. May God bless him!” Trump posted on Truth Social Wednesday afternoon.
Kirk was in Utah and was to appear on Wednesday at the University of Utah Valley as part of his American return tour.

Kirk spokesperson initially confirmed that “Charlie Kirk was shot dead at the University of Utah Valley. Unknown condition.”
The Trump administration officials who extend JD Vance to the FBI director, Kash Patel, offered a wave of concern and support for Kirk on social networks on Wednesday afternoon.

“Dear God, protect Charlie in his darkest hour,” published Vance, accompanied by a photo of him with Kirk and others Trump Allies.

“Say a prayer for Charlie Kirk, a really good guy and a young father,” wrote Vance in a Previous post x.
“We closely monitor reports on the tragic shooting involving Charlie Kirk at the University of Utah Valley. Our thoughts are with Charlie, his relatives, and all the people affected. Posted on X.

“FBI and ATF agents are on the scene. Pray for Charlie”, Attorney General Pam Bondi published.
A White House official told Fox News that the situation room and NSA Rubio were actively engaged and watched the shooting and were in contact with state officials.

Kirk is the founder of Turning Point USA, a non -profit organization that promotes conservative ideology for young people, especially on university campuses. Kirk had long been a Trump ally and recently joined a White House event in May, when the American acting lawyer from Washington, DC Jeanine Pirro, was sworn in in his role, shows photos.
