President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that he was seriously thinking about actress and actress Rosie O’Donnell of her American citizenship, a decision he had threatened in the past but could not do so legally.

“As mentioned above, we are seriously thinking of removing citizenship from Rosie O’Donnell. She is not a big American and is, in my opinion, unable to be!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Trump had made similar statements in recent months, especially in July, when he said he was planning to draw citizenship from O’Donnell because it “was not in the best interest of our great country” and is a “threat to humanity”.

O’Donnell responded to the post of the president in July with a reference to the character that King Joffrey of “Game of Thrones”, saying: “Go ahead and try, King Joffrey with a mandarin spraying tan. I am not silent that I have never been.”

The Constitution does not allow a president to go beyond the citizenship of a person born in the United States, the 14th amendment grants citizenship to any person born in the United States, and O’Donnell was born in Commack, New York.

O’Donnell, who has Irish grandparents, moved to Ireland with his daughter this year after Trump’s electoral victory and is obtaining Irish citizenship to become a double citizen. She cited the current political climate as a reason for her move.

“When he is sure that all citizens have equal rights in America, it is then that we will consider returning,” she said in a tiktok.

In March, when a journalist asked the Irish Prime Minister during a visit to the White House why he would allow O’Donnell to move to Ireland, Trump jumped and said that he was better not knowing who she was.

“Do you know who she is? You better not know,” said Trump at the time.

Trump’s quarrel with O’Donnell lasted nearly two decades, launched by O’Donnell, criticizing the “The View” in 2006 on his decision to be lenient towards a Miss USA winner who had been accused of drug use and other controversies.

In 2015, during a republican primary debate, a moderator questioned Trump on its previous use of derogatory terms to describe women.

“Only Rosie O’Donnell,” then candidate Trump.

Last month, after a shooting from the Catholic school of Minneapolis who made two dead children and more than a dozen wounded, O’Donnell posted a video pretending that the shooter was a supporter Maga, a republican and a white supremacist.

“What do you know? He was a white, republican guy, Maga. What do you know? White supremacists,” she said.

O’Donnell removed the video and apologized.

“I knew that many of you were very upset by the video I made before leaving for a few days,” she said. “You are right. I did not make my due diligence before making this emotional statement, and I said things about the shooter who were incorrect.

“I supposed, like most shooters, they followed a standard MO and had standard feelings, feelings … You know, a kind of firearm,” continued O’Donnell. “Anyway, the truth is that I have spoiled, and when you are mistaken, you do yourself. I’m sorry. It’s my video of excuses and I hope it’s enough.”
