US President Donald Trump said on Sunday that the United States had “nothing to do with” Israel’s attack on Iran, but warned that any attack on the United States would be greeted by “full force and could” from the American army.

“The United States had nothing to do with the attack on Iran, tonight,” Trump wrote on Truth Social in the early hours of Sunday.

“If we are attacked in any way whatsoever, forms or forms by Iran, the full strength and power of the American armed forces will come to you at levels never seen before,” he continued. “However, we can easily conclude an agreement between Iran and Israel, and put an end to this bloody conflict !!!”

Trump’s comments occurred a few hours after Israeli defense forces claimed the responsibility of a series of strikes at the headquarters of the Iranian Department of Defense and a nuclear project, while Tehran triggered a new dam of fatal strikes.

“The FDIs completed a large series of strikes on targets in Tehran linked to the Iranian regime’s nuclear weapons project,” wrote the TDI on X. “The targets included the seat of the Iranian Defense Ministry, the seat of the SPND project and the additional targets, which advanced the efforts of the Iranian regime.”

Despite Trump’s statement, Iran said it has evidence that the United States was involved in the attack.

“We have solid proof of the support of the American forces and the American bases in the region for attacks by the military forces of the Zionist regime,” said Iranian Foreign Affairs Abbas Araghchi to foreign diplomats at a meeting broadcast on state television.

The attacks negotiated by Israel and Iran have represented the last violence since a surprise offensive by Israel two days earlier to decimate the nuclear program of Tehran.

At least 10 Israeli victims were killed and at least 180 were injured in Iranian missile strikes overnight, while victims were not immediately available in Iran, where Israel targeted the seat of the Ministry of Defense in Tehran as well as locations which, according to them, were associated with the country’s nuclear program.

The Israeli army alleged that the locations were “linked to the Iranian regime’s nuclear weapons project”.

US intelligence agencies and the International Atomic Energy Agency said on several occasions that Iran did not pursue a nuclear weapon before Israel triggered its offensive targeting Iran from Friday.

The Iranian paramilitary revolution guardian said that Iranian missiles were targeting fuel production facilities for Israeli hunting planes, although this was not recognized by Israel.

The negotiations provided between Iran and the United States on the Tehran nuclear program were canceled in the middle of the current conflict in the Middle East, raising questions on the moment and the end of the fighting.
