Trump promises “no Mr. Approach to cope with DC crime and homelessness

President Donald Trump On Sunday swore to Washington, DC, “safer and more beautiful” while its administration is coupled with efforts to combat crime and a growing homeless population in the national capital.
“The homeless must move, immediately. We will give you places to stay, but far from the capital,” wrote Trump in a Post social postSharing several photos of tent camps to highlight your message.

“Criminals, you don’t have to move. We are going to put you in prison where you belong,” he wrote, adding that the new repressions on the two questions “will occur very quickly”.

“There will be no” Mr. Nice guy. “We want our capital to come back,” said Trump, adding that more details on these efforts will be presented at a press conference on Monday.
Trump has repeatedly characterized Washington, DC, as “one of the most dangerous cities in the world”. Trump said on Saturday that his administration “will essentially stop violent crimes” in the national capital.
Last week, Trump said he was weighed on federal DC police control, including the potential deployment of the National Guard, to cope with the increase in crime in the capital.

The renewed objective follows a series of violent incidents in the city, some involving federal employees, including a high -level employee of the Government Ministry (DOGE) who was the victim of a car attempt.

“We have a very dangerous capital, you know, we have almost lost a young man, a beautiful and beautiful guy who was knocked out,” said Trump, referring to the former Doge employee, Edward Coristine.
The president described crime in DC as “out of control”, with young “thugs” and “gang members” who “attack, worsen, mutilate and shoot innocent citizens”.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said last week in a statement to Fox News that “President Trump directed an increased presence of the application of federal laws to protect innocent citizens. From this evening, there will be no security port for violent criminals at DC”
“Washington, DC is an incredible city, but it has been prey to violent crimes for too long,” added Leavitt.
