Trump officials call for “dehumanization” of ice as attacks increase

The deputy secretary of the Department of Internal Security, Tricia McLaughlin, described the declaration of Omar “a lies vile” and the history a “disgusting smear”.

After the shooting, McLaughlin posted on X, calling on people to pray for the victims of the attack and at the end of the attacks against ice staff.
