After having succeeded in a ceasefire by President Donald Trump between Iran and Israel, India and Pakistan, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda, critics say that the UN secretary general, António Guterres, could well make Trump’s head as a peace.
However, while American taxpayers continue to pay billions to the United Nations, and although Trump surpasses Guterres on the world scene, the basic wages of guterres is more than the commander -in -chief.
At $ 418,348, Guterres obtained a higher basic salary than President Donald Trump while directing a body accused of bias, corruption and anti-American waste.

Hugh Dugan, former special special assistant of the National Security Council of the President and Senior Director of International Affairs, told Fox News Digital: “Frankly, we have put (guterres) on this set as being equal with a Pope or a Head of State, when in fact, he is really an employee, and he is the director of the Country, not the father of the bride, but he calls all the shots when it comes to ceremony and WHO.
“You flatter him right away,” said Dugan, when you compare Guterres with Trump, “while in fact he is one of the president’s employees – in fact, the employee of all the heads of state. And to overcome him (him) … is really indicative of the managerial capture of the organization and the UN deep state on books.”

Projectors on wages and advantages are involved at a time when the world organization faces serious financial constraints.
Without including expenses and extras, Trump receives Some $ 18,348 less than Guterres at $ 400,000. Presidential extras include an expense allowance of $ 50,000 and other advantages.
Guterres’ salary, provided to Fox News Digital by his spokesperson Stephane Dujarric, only understands his salary and his multiplier. It does not include the considerable range of other advantages enjoyed by Guterres. In an email at Fox News Digital, Dujarric said that the “net basic salary in January 2025 – $ 238,375 per year (reference resolution 58/265 adjusted in accordance with the same procedures as those applicable to staff in professional and higher categories).

The spokesman later confirmed to Fox News Digital that the UN chief’s salary was $ 418 348. These income did not include some of the sumptuous extras he obtained, such as a manhattan plush residence and a personal driver.
Although the United States does not directly pay the Secretary General’s salary, it continues to finance about a quarter of the organization’s budget, and criticisms continue to question the expenses they believe that American interests harm.

Last month, US Affairs Dorothy Shea issued a veiled warning to the World Organization by opposing an anti-Israeli resolution project to the United Nations Security Council.
“Getting involved in this performative process at a time when serious questions are asked about the utility of the UN, its financing and its use of resources are shameful. This advice should not be used in this way. This advice must be held at a higher level.”

Senior Republican Congress staff working on international organizations complained: “The United Nations officials are the ultimate world elites. They earn sumptuous wages and live in sumptuous penthouses from New York, paid largely with money from American taxpayers. A large number of United Nations organizations they run are controlled by China.
“Doge’s work is not yet finished, and a step should be to cut these civil servants from the money from American taxpayers.”
