Trump encourages Americans to pray for the nation every week before the 250th birthday

EXCLUSIVE – President Donald Trump will announce the launch of America’s prayers at the Bible Museum in Washington, DC today while linking the Faith -focused initiative to the country’s 250th anniversary.
The inspiring program calls on the Americans to devote time every week to pray for the country and to emphasize the faith as at the heart of the Foundation and the future of the nation.
“President Trump has relaunched one of the most important and powerful founding principles in America – we are a nation under God,” said White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers at Fox News Digital. “While we are approaching the 250th anniversary of the world’s largest country, President Trump invites Americans to pray for our nation and for our people. America is stronger with the power of prayer.”
The initiative also suggests that people join at least 10 others each week to pray.

The announcement will follow the appearance of Trump at the Fairgrounds of Iowa State in July, where he launched America250, the one -year official celebration.
“While we are preparing to celebrate two and a half centuries of freedom, I invite the main American religious communities to pray for our nation and for our people,” said Trump at the time. “From the start, this has always been a sustained country and reinforced by prayer. If we bring back the stronger religion, you will see everything improves. So, while we are tracing our course around the next 250 years, we give a nation under God.”
The launch of America prays Monday extends this message to a faith -focused initiative.

Religious leaders have rallied around the president’s efforts. Franklin Graham, president of the Samaritan handbag, noted: “Our greatest battles are waged on knees, and through America, we can join God to ask the God to guide and protect this land.”

Pastor Clint Pressley of the Southern Baptist Convention added that prayer is “a public testimony that we depend on God for wisdom and strength”.
The America Pray initiative has also established partnerships from the whole religious community, including the Samaritan handbag, Pray.com, Hallow, national religious broadcasters, the Faith and Freedom Coalition and dozens of churches and ministries on a national scale.

The organizers say that the effort reflects the same spirit which defined America since its foundation: a people united in faith, asking for the blessing of God to the nation that it between its next 250 years.
