President Donald Trump is intensifying his quarrel with Illinois Governor JB Pritzker after another bloody weekend in Chicago, exploding the Democrat for rejecting federal aid while six people were killed and more than two dozen shots.

The quarrel politically benefits the two men.
Trump seizes Chicago as a symbol of democratic failure and strengthens his brand of law and order with the executive muscle, while Pritzker can present himself as being up to a president whom he calls a tyrant.
Behind the political theater of the two men, Chicago has led the nation to total homicides For 13 consecutive years, according to the White House.
