President Donald Trump criticized a pair of democratic legislators for having presented a bill that would oblige federal laws on the application of laws not to wear masks and have readable identity documents during work, claiming that legislators must “hate our country” or they would not “say”.
“Two Democratic senators now, Cory Booker and Alex Padilla, have a new bill. They want to demand that CBP and ice officers have readable identifiers, and they don’t want CBP or ice officers to cover their faces. Peter DOOCY from Fox News asked Trump during a lunch Wednesday with African presidents.
“Well, they would not say that if they did not hate our country,” replied Trump before renting officers with customs and border protection (CBP) and customs application (ICE). “And they obviously do it. I am surprised that they do it knowing a little about them.”
“These officers are doing a great job,” he continued. “These are great patriots. If you exhibit them because of, you know, declarations like Democrats and others on the left, generally most of the time, I think that, probably exclusively, you put them in great danger, a huge danger.”

Democratic Sens. Cory Booker from New Jersey and Alex Padilla of California presented a bill on Tuesday, nicknamed the identification standards visible for the Act on the Application of the Immigration Based (visible), which would oblige CBP and ice agents to wear an identification badge while working and that they do not wear facial masks that hide their identity.
The DHS takes up the Democrats for rhetoric “beyond pallor” while ice agents face a wave of violent threats
“For weeks, the Americans have seen federal agents without visible identification to have street people and instill the fear of communities across the country,” Booker said on the bill on Tuesday. “The reports of persons usurping the identity of ice agents have only increased the risk for the security of public and officers. The lack of visible identification and uniform standards for agents of the application of immigration laws has created confusion, an impregnated fear and the confidence of the public in the application of the law.”
Federal agents of the application of immigration laws have been targeted several times in recent days, including at least two ambushes in Texas, and demonstrators come up against federal officers in the installation of Portland, Oregon, after Trump signed the “major bill” on Friday.

Anti-ice rhetoric has particularly intensified in June, when federal officials went down to Los Angeles to make raids to expel illegal immigrants, who were met by demonstrations that transformed into riots last month while local Democratic leaders condemned the Trump administration for its immigration policies.
“And it’s a bit funny when people make stake in front of Columbia, in front of Harvard and they have masks on more than masks, I mean, you can not see anything. Their work has unmasked.” There is a problem with that. “

Trump continued that Democrats have become “somewhat disturbed” and added that wealthy people on the left probably finance rioters to attack federal law enforcement agents.

“This is the problem with the Democrats,” said Trump. “They have a lot of bad things in their heads. They have become very … They have lost their confidence, number one. And they really have become somewhat disturbed. I want to do everything necessary to protect our large inhabitants from the application of laws. And they are in the lead.”
DOOCY questioned Trump on the ambush in Alvarado, Texas, July 4 which led to the arrest of 10 rioters.
“President Trump in Alvarado, Texas, a few days ago, 10 people carrying all blacks would have triggered fireworks outside an ice desk to attract officers so that they could embusize them, shoot them. They had rifles and bidirectional vests and radios. Do you think it is an isolated incident, or do you think there is a national threat of a left militia that is targeted On ice and CBP? ” Asked DOOCY.

Trump resumed that “very stupid people on the left” finance rioters who target the officers.

“I think you have very stupid people on the left who have money that makes it available to these people,” said Trump. “Because you look at the weapons they had, they were new. You even look at the clothes they wore, it seemed to have come from a military shop. So you have very stupid people who, if something happened, they would be the first to leave.”
“They would be the first hit,” added Trump.
