Trump criticizes migrant housing in luxury hotels in the middle of difficulties

President Donald Trump criticized taxpayers money on Tuesday to host migrants in “luxury hotels” while others continue to fight to afford the necessities.

Trump returned to the United States after a four-day trip to Scotland when he was asked about mass migration in the United Kingdom.

A journalist stressed that many in the United Kingdom challenged the housing migrants in hotels to the detriment of taxpayers while their asylum complaints are processed and asked whether Great Britain needed its own “Alligator Alcatraz”.

“They put people in luxury hotels and other people who work their —- offer hand in their mouths. They do not live in the same way,” said Trump on the Air Force One. “I looked at some of the hotels they use.”

Trump noted that illegal immigrants in some parts of the United States have also been accommodated in hotels.

“They placed them as the best hotels in the world,” he said. “Thousands of dollars per night, and other people live on the streets, including our veterans. They cannot have a room.

“There are photos of our veterans who stay just near the door where they enter to live, and the veterans sit on the sidewalk in front of a fantasy hotel. And the illegals enter this hotel and stay for a week,” he added. “It’s not good.”
