President Donald Trump reacted to the mortal stab wounds on Monday of a 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee who occurred last month in Charlotte, North Carolina, saying that the United States had to act against “bad people” for the good of the country.

Trump mentioned the stab wounds by Iryna Zarutska on the light tram train train during the remarks at the Bible Museum.

“We are all the people of religion, but there are bad people,” said Trump. “And we have to face this. I just give my love and my hope to the family of the young woman who was stabbed this morning or last night in Charlotte by a madman.”

The suspect, identified as DeCarlos Brown, 34, was arrested shortly after stabbing and hospitalized before being arrested for first degree murder.

“A madman has just gotten up and started,” said Trump about the suspect. “It’s just on a band. Not really looking at because it’s so horrible, but just viciously stabbed. She is just sitting there.”

Surveillance images, recently published by the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS), shows Zarutska aboard the Lynx Bline line just after 9:45 p.m. on August 22. She is seen bearing a pizzeria uniform while scrolling on her phone. A man in a red hooded sweatshirt is seen behind her.

About four minutes later, the images show that the man pulling a knife and stabbing Zarutska three times, including at least once in the neck. The authorities then pronounced it on the scene.

The video shows the suspect walking in the wagon, removing his sweatshirt and waiting by the doors while the passengers look.

“So they’re bad people,” said Trump. “We must be able to manage this. If we do not manage this, we do not have a country.”

Files obtained by The New York Job has shown that Brown has history of arrests that go back more than a decade, including accusations of crime theft, skilled theft with a dangerous weapon and communication threats. Police said Brown and Zarutska did not know each other and that the attack had been random.

Trump noted other recent murders in the United States, saying that actions, such as pressure from his administration to end the deposit without cash, were to be taken.

“This deposit without species began a wave in our country where a killer kills someone and is on the street in the afternoon and, in many cases, by leaving and killing again, a deposit without species,” said Trump.
