President Donald Trump took a different tone on the Russian leader Vladimir Putin at his meeting of the cabinet on Tuesday, calling the “Bull —-“.
Trump made a contrast between the aid that his administration sent to Ukraine during his first mandate and what former President Barack Obama approved.
“I gave them the javelins. Do you remember? They said,” Trump gave the javelots and Obama gave them sheets. “Just. They called Obama at that time, Barack Hussein Obama.” It was a war that should have happened. And many people are dying and it should end. And I don’t know, we get … we get a lot of bull —- We launched by Putin. If you want to know the truth. He is very nice all the time, but that should not be insignificant. ”
When Russia annexed Crimea in 2014, Obama rejected the request for lethal help from Ukraine and rather sent non -lethal military assistance, including articles such as covers, night vision devices and medical supplies. In December 2017, Trump marked a change in American policy to Ukraine by approving the sale of javelin missiles and launch units.

Trump said on Tuesday that the sloppy withdrawal of the Biden administration from Afghanistan had given Putin the green light to launch its large -scale invasion of Ukraine.
“I think if you had not had the situation in Afghanistan, I don’t think Putin would have entered. I think when he looked at what extent this operation was stupid and incompetent, he said,” Wow, it could be a chance “, Trump told journalists. “We are also dealing with him now. We are not satisfied with Putin. I am not satisfied with Putin, I can tell you a lot at the moment, because he kills many people, and many of them are his soldiers, his soldiers and their soldiers, especially. And it is now up to 7,000 per week. And I am not satisfied with Putin.”
Last week, Trump said he was “very disappointed” by his phone call with Putin, who then refused to retreat from his goals and launched the greatest air assault on Ukraine since the start of the war. Trump, said he had a “very strategic call” with the Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy, while the United States raised whether to sell more patriotic missiles in kyiv.
Since the start of his second term, Trump has expressed a “good relationship” with Putin. While the United States tried to negotiate a cease-fire agreement between Russia and Ukraine, Trump said he had a “long and very productive” call with Putin in March. Meanwhile, a meeting at the Oval Office with Zelenskyy has become more and more controversial while Trump and Vice-President JD Vance accused the Ukrainian chief of being ungrateful for American support and of resisting a peace agreement.
“You play with the Second World War, and what you are doing is very disrespectful towards the country, this country that supported you a lot more than many people say they should have,” Trump told Zelenskyy in February.

Trump and Zelenskyy met in The Hague at the NATO summit last month, and thereafter, the American president said about Zelenskyy, “he could not have been more pleasant”, while expressing a mutual desire to see the end of the three -year conflict.
At his meeting of the cabinet on Tuesday, Trump criticized the extent of American military aid sent to Ukraine under former president Joe Biden, while praising the courageous “Ukrainian” fighters.
“I would say that the Ukrainians were courageous, but we gave them the best equipment ever done,” said Trump. Without that, said the president, the conflict, “would probably have been a very rapid war, would have been a war that lasted 3 or 4 days”.
“But they had the benefit of incredible equipment and Europe also gave them. We gave them much more because – Biden should not have done so. He should have equalized,” said Trump. “We should have given them the same thing where we should have actually gave Europe, because it affects Europe much more than us. But we are there for more than $ 300 billion. Europe is there for more than 100 billion, but Europe has always given a lot.”

“And I will say that. The Ukrainians, whether you thought it is unfair that we have given all this money or not, they were very courageous because someone had to make this kind of things work,” Trump added. “And many people I know would not exploit it. They would not have the courage to do it. So they fought very courageously, but we have given them the best equipment in the world. We do the best military equipment by far. There is nobody closely.”

The Pentagon interrupted American weapons expeditions to Ukraine in June due to the concern of American stocks of critical ammunition, including Patriot missiles, in the middle of the Israeli-Iranian conflict.
Trump said on Tuesday that some American weapons in Ukraine had taken over.
“We wanted to put defensive weapons because Putin is not, he does not treat human beings. He kills too many people. So we send defensive weapons to Ukraine, and I approved this,” said Trump.
