The Ministry of Internal Security (DHS) blames democratic politicians and the consumer media for an 830% increase in attacks on American immigration and customs’ application (ICE), affirming that their “lies and false stories” continue to stir hatred and violence.

The DHS announced on Tuesday that its ice managers had faced an increase of 830% of the attacks between January 21, 2025 and July 14, 2025, compared to the same period in 2024. The recorded period begins during the day after President Donald Trump returned to the Oval Office.

“Just inside: our courageous @icegov Application of the law now faces an increase of 830% of assaults against them”, secretary of the DHS Kristi Noem said on Tuesday in an article on X. “These new data reflect violence against our police forces in the country’s cities in recent weeks. Politicians across the country, whatever the political band, must condemn this.”

The DHS accused political figures and the traditional media of the climbing of anti-ice rhetoric, pointing in particular to the Democrats of Congress which, according to the ministry, were caught “doxing and even physically assaulting” civil servants working for ice.

The representative Salud Carbajal, D-Calif., According to DHS, shared a business card from an ICE employee with a group of people violating this week, placing a target on the employee’s back and inciting the crowd to attack him.

Consequently, the official was struck by a rock and taken to the hospital where he received stitches.

Another democratic legislator, the representative Lamonica Mciver, Dn.J., is accused of having stormed the Delaney Hall detention center in May, where she would have attacked an ice officer. She was charged with accusations of federal assault.

“The good ice law enforcement risk their lives every day to protect our communities from the worst criminals,” said DHS deputy secretary, Tricia McLaughlin. “The Ice’s police are able to remove terrorists, murderers, pedophiles and the most depraved among us American communities, even if the crazy rhetoric of gutter politicians inspires a massive increase in aggressions against them. It is reprehensible that our officers are confronted with this threat while doing their work and doing the law.”

The DHS also underlined cases in Portland, Oregon, where the ice officers were dixed and threatened by antifa-affiliate groups. The agency said groups had published personal photos and addresses of ice officers and threatened them, as well as their families.

An officer, noted the DHS, had someone to appear at his home and to pour waste on his lawn, which included panels which said “F – K you” with the name of the officer.

While groups call for ice agents by name, the DHS also accused the consumer media of publishing false stories on federal immigration application efforts.

“During an application operation where federal ice and police saved 14 children from potential exploitation, forced labor and human trafficking, the media falsely reported that a man had died in police custody,” said DHS. “It was a pure and simple lie. The man was not prosecuted by the police, but still chose to climb to the roof of a green house, where he fell 30 feet.”

DHS said that some media organizations also accuse the ice of “targeting” children.

“Rather than separating families, Ice asks mothers if they want to be removed with their children or if the child must be placed with someone else in complete safety (who) the parent designates,” said DHS to clarify the reports.
