Trump adds gold accents to the oval office at his personal expenses

President Donald Trump has the touch of gold – and nowhere more obvious than in the oval office, where golden accents now adorn the country’s most famous workspace, reflecting his signature style.

The oval golden additions were fully exposed last week when the world leaders met Trump to discuss a path towards the end of the Russian war in Ukraine.

A White House spokesman told Fox News Digital that the gold that Trump added to the oval office “was of the highest quality”, refusing to provide additional details. The spokesperson also said that Trump personally covered the cost of accents of gold, but had not specified the amount of gold added or the amount of Trump.

In March, Trump told Fox News Laura Ingraham host during a visit to the oval office that the room “needed a little life” when they asked him about gold details.

“Over the years, people have tried to find a gold paint that would look like gold, and they have never been able to do it,” Trump told Ingraham. “You have never been able to associate gold with gold paint, that’s why it is gold,” added Trump.

Since then, Trump has added gold accents throughout the oval office to include the 18 -foot 6 inch ceiling of the room. You will find below a photo of the presidential seal which overlooks the resolved office, shown in 2008 and after the addition of all gold.

Behind the desk resolved, Trump added gold curtains and a demonstration of flags, including those who represent the sisters of the American army.

Meanwhile, a gold garnish was added to the details along the ceiling and the doors. Even the cherubs inside the door frames received a golden youthful treatment.

In March, Trump said that he had installed a copy of the declaration of independence in the oval office. He told Fox News host Laura Ingraham that the document had to be kept behind heavy curtains to protect him from light damage.

The declaration of independence signed is in permanent exposure to the national archives on Constitution avenue in Washington, DC, where it has been accommodated since 1952.

The presidents traditionally choose the portraits displayed in the oval office, with particular attention given to that above the fireplace.

Above the fireplace, Trump chose to show a portrait of George Washington in military uniform, accompanied by several other leading portraits.

Gold accents have been applied to the white marble chimney coat, improving its neoclassical details.

Trump also placed gold trinkets on the chimney coat, although their arrangement has changed frequently.

In the oval office, Trump added golden sides bearing his family name and number 47, marking his position of 47th president.

The details of gold added to the oval office come as Trump undertakes broader renovations on the White House field.

Trump sets up new massive American flags in the White House – and they don’t cost taxpayers

Last month, the White House announced that Trump, with private donors, will finance an estimated $ 200 million project to build a new ballroom. Intended to host official events, state dinners and large ceremonial rallies, the addition of 90,000 square feet will welcome around 650 seated guests and maintain the classic design of the White House.

The announcement followed a similar decision earlier this year, when Trump personally financed the installation of two 88 -foot US flags flank the White HouseEach would cost about $ 50,000.
