President Donald Trump allegedly alleged that the Senate Democrats may delay his candidates in exchange for money in a heated post on Truth Social on Sunday evening.

In the post, Trump accused the Democrats of the Senate, led by the head of the Senate minority, Chuck Schumer, Dn.y., of slowing down confirmations of more than 150 executive candidates.

“The Democrats, lead (sic) of Cryin ‘Chuck Schumer, walk slow to my candidates, more than 150 of them. They wanted us to pay, originally, two billion dollars for approvals. DEMS are crazy crazy !!!”, read the post.

He suggested that the Democrats took advantage of the process to extract the funding agreements – a tactic that his partners described as a “political extortion”.

The head of the majority of the Senate, John Thune, RS.D., recently met Schumer to discuss an offer during the current negotiations, but they have not written it directly since the choice to communicate via intermediaries, according to Thune.

While Trump urged the Senate to make movements quickly, the Democrats continue to block more candidates than normal.

“I think they desperately need change,” Thune said about the Senate rules on Saturday after negotiations with Schumer and Trump was broken down. “I think the last six months have shown that this process, the appointments are broken. And so I expect there to be good robust conversations on this subject.”

Historically, the nominees were confirmed unanimously or by vote voting quickly, but the DESMS in the Senate would have forced the votes of the appeal on many current candidates.

Thune told Fox News Digital that little progress was made because “DEMS are dug in a position that simply does not work”.

The Senate Republicans want to conclude an agreement that would send the candidates with bipartisan support through the ultra-fast voting committee on the ground, but Schumer did not give in.

Trump’s statements are involved after the departure of the Senate on Saturday for a recreation of a month of August without concluding an agreement on the progress of dozens of candidates, which prompted him to publish on Truth Social that Schumer could “go to hell”.
