President Donald Trump warned Russian President Vladimir Putin in response to recent missile tests, reminding him that the United States has a nuclear submarine stationed “just off its coast.”

Trump made the comments during a press rally aboard Air Force One Monday morning, telling reporters that the United States “doesn’t play games” with Putin.

“Russia said this week it has tested a new missile capable of traveling more than 8,000 miles. Is that sabre-rattling to you? What is it?” » asked a journalist.

“I know we have a nuclear submarine, the largest in the world, right off their coast. So, I mean, it doesn’t have to go 8,000 miles, and they’re not playing a game with us. We’re not playing a game with them either,” Trump responded.

“We test missiles all the time. But, you know, we have a submarine, a nuclear submarine. We don’t need to go 8,000 miles. And I don’t think that’s an appropriate thing for Putin to say either. You should end the war. A war that should have lasted a week is now in its fourth year. That’s what you should do instead of testing missiles. missiles,” he added.
