First on Fox: Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas, the number three Republican of the Senate management, reveals the volume of his efforts to protect and strengthen the majority of the GOP in the room in the elections of next year.

A non -profit public advocacy group aligned with the senator launched on Tuesday an announcement highlighting the representative of the Iowa Ashley Hinson GOP, who presents himself in the 2026 race to succeed in the Républicain Retired Senator Joni Ernst.

The announcement is the last effort of Cotton, the army veteran who was used in combat in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan before becoming an increasing GOP star, to support the Republicans in key races of the Senate in the mid-term elections of next year when the party will defend its majority 53-47 in the Chamber.

“Iowa has a fighter in Washington. His name is Ashley Hinson,” said the narrator in The Spot by America One Policies, which was first shared with Fox News Digital.

Hinson, a former local television anchor, was approved by President Donald Trump, the head of the majority of the Senate John Thune and by the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) while she headed for the headquarters of the Iowa Ouva Senate in the hands of the party.

The narrator underlines that Hinson “is difficult for crime, and it is difficult in China. Ashley fought to prevent China from buying our agricultural land, and it voted for the tax reductions of President Trump”.

“Ashley Hinson puts more money in your pocket. Tell him to continue fighting for Iowa,” adds the narrator.

It is the second place in this cycle by America a policy following an announcement that targets Senator Jon Ossoff of Georgia, that the Republicans consider the most vulnerable Democratic senator who presents himself to re -election in 2026.

And earlier this month, Cotton Pac leadership set up an announcement that aims to the former Democratic Governor of North Carolina, Roy Cooper, who presents himself against the former president of the National Republican Committee Michael Whatyly in the race to succeed in withdrawing the senator from Gop Thom Tillis.

A spokesperson for America One Polices told Fox News that “Senator Cotton planned to fight for his colleagues in the American Senate, to ensure us to develop our majority in the Senate, to collect and advertise our candidates and to ensure that the American people know the archives of this Democrat cycle.”

Cotton, who was not confronted with an opponent of the Democratic Party when he sailed to be re -elected in 2020 and who is not supposed to face a difficult re -election next year in the red state of Arkansas, screened in the country in recent electoral cycles to campaign on behalf of his republican colleagues.

“As Tom Cotton has done since the first day he was elected to power, he will continue to help the Republicans across the country presenting themselves to functions at any level, to win,” said a source of the Senator’s political orbit to Fox News Digital.

The 48 -year -old cotton examined the current for the race for the republican presidential appointment of 2024 while he was making many trips to Iowa and New Hampshire, the two states that have long launched the GOP’s main presidential calendar.

But a few days before the middle of 2022, Cotton announced that he would not appear in the White House in 2024.

And last year, cotton was considered in the largest list of potential racing comrades by Donald Trump president.

Cotton support in Hinson in Iowa could trigger speculation about a potential future managed by the Senator for the White House.
