The White House Interrupted the use by HegSeth of polygraphs in the investigations of the media leaks

According to a report, the White House expressed the branch on the use by Pete Hegseth of polygraphic tests to eliminate leaks, according to a report.
Patrick Weaver, a current HegSeth advisor, alerted managers of the high -ranking administration that he could soon have to submit a polygraphic test, the Washington Post reported. This prompted a call to HegSeth to remove lies detector tests.

Weaver, who previously held positions in the National Security Council of the White House and the Department of Internal Security during the first administration of President Donald Trump, has been offended to the potential measure.

The investigation to identify the leaks within the Ministry of Defense began at the end of March with a memo of Joe Kasper, then HegSeth chief of staff.
“Unauthorized recent disclosure of national security information involving sensitive communications with the directors of the Defense Secretary Office require an immediate and in -depth investigation,” Kasper wrote in the memo of March 21.

“The use of polygraphs in the execution of this survey will be in accordance with the applicable law and policy,” added Kasper.
The White House and the Pentagon did not immediately respond to the request for Fox News comments.

The revelation is the last controversy in the Pentagon, which, earlier this year, endured the “Signalgate” scandal. Discussions on military action between Hegseth and a group of senior Trump officials have been disclosed, although they were carried out on the encrypted application.
