The White House blocks illegal immigrants from access to federal services programs

The White House increases efforts to withdraw illegal immigrants from a range of advantages funded by taxpayers, supervising the decision as part of a wider campaign to reduce government waste.
The Trump administration has shared additional details on the new restrictions that would prevent illegal immigrants from accessing more than 15 federal aid programs, which collectively represent $ 40 billion in public spending.
The White House spokesman Taylor Rogers told Fox News Digital that illegal immigrants could no longer “steal public advantages at the expense of workers’ taxpayers”.

Leavitt has added that the measure will address “waste, fraud and abuse” and will remove around 1.4 million illegal immigrants from the program.
Experts say that Medicaid changes in “Big Beautiful Bill” are “common sense” for health care policy
“It is perfectly reasonable for taxpayers who pay the Medicaid program to emphasize the fact that all members of the program that can contribute, by working,” said Michael Cannon, director of health policy studies at Cato Institute, previously told Fox Business.
The bill asks the members of Medicaid who are valid adults and privileged age without children to work or volunteer about 20 hours per week.

Nina Schaefer, director of the Center for Health and Welfare policy at the Heritage Foundation, described Medicaid’s provisions as “common sense administrative changes”.
“The Medicaid program is over 60 years old and has been working on the automatic driver for too long. These changes are starting to bring monitoring, transparency and essential responsibility,” said Schaefer.
