An American military veteran was filmed by burning an American flag outside the White House the same day that President Donald Trump signed an executive decree requiring new consequences to do this.

Trump signed the ordinance on Monday, ordering the Attorney General Pam Bondi to continue the violations of the laws involving the profit of the flag and to pursue disputes which would clarify the scope of the first amendment with regard to the desecration of the flag. The order also orders Bondi to return the cases of desecration of the flag which violate state and local laws to the appropriate local authorities.

Images from the outside of the White House the same day show a man who identified himself as a veteran speaking through a megaphone while burning the flag.

“I am a 20 -year -old veteran of the American army,” said the man while the flag burns at his feet. “It is our right of the first amendment to burn this flag, no matter what the president says.”

Trump nevertheless faced a decline in the right on social networks after having signed the order, the conservatives largely defending the flag burns as the right of the first amendment.

“I would never harm the American flag in a million years. But a president telling me that I can not force myself as close as I never be by lighting a fire. I am a free American citizen. And if I ever want to make a boost, I will do it.

“The burning of the flag is vile but the government is not allowed to control discourse or expression,” wrote Dana Loesch.

The Supreme Court ruled in the Texas case c. Johnson from 1989 that Burning the American Flag is a form of symbolic discourse which is protected by the first amendment. Trump’s decree, which orders the Attorney General to “continue the disputes to clarify the scope of the exceptions of the first amendment” in the field of flag combustion, signals will probably be dispute disputes disputing the 1989 decision.
