“President Trump, I think, is simply clear that Putin’s back is against the wall and I think he has demonstrated this clarity with his very first action before saying a word with the fact that he piloted B-2 bombers on the head (from Putin),” said representative Brian Mast, R-Fla. “It was not by accident, of course. For him to pilot a B-2 bomber on Vladimir Putin’s head, it was a signal when President Trump says:” Hey, there could be very serious consequences. “”

Some Republicans took the opportunity on Friday to slam the former Biden administration for omitting the necessary measures to stop the war in Ukraine.

“When Joe Biden became president, he signaled to the sanctions of Nord Stream 2, he offered Putin and Russia a gift of several billion dollars, and the reason which caused war is because Putin had refrained from invading Ukraine because he did not want to damage the natural gas pipelines that were headed by Ukraine,” said Sen. Texas, the republican Texas Cruz, in an interview on Fox News.

During the summit, while Putin addressed journalists, he said he believed that Trump’s claim and the Republicans who had been president of Trump when the war started in Biden’s place, it would probably never have started.

“The key to ending this war honorably and precisely is to create a deterrent infrastructure that Biden and Obama have not made – which will prevent a third invasion,” said Senator Lindsey Graham, Rs.c.

Southern Carolina Senator added that after the summit, a meeting between Trump, Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will be necessary. The senator argued that with such a meeting, it would be “prudently optimistic” that war could end “long before Christmas”.

“If this meeting does not materialize, I think that President Trump may have to do everything to punish those who buy cheap Russian oil and gas, supporting the Putin war machine,” concluded Graham.
