The memo created deep cracks among Trump supporters who complained about a lack of transparency from the administration. One source told Fox News Digital that the deputy director of the FBI, Dan Bongino, had planned to resign on this subject, although he said nothing publicly.
The president, on the other hand, rejected criticism, qualifying the accusations of “hoax” and claiming that his supporters are “duped” by the Democrats. Trump posted on Truth Social on Friday morning, “if there was a” smoking pistol “on Epstein, why the DEMS, who checked the ‘` files” for four years, have (then the general of the attorne Merrick Garland) and (the director of the FBI of the time James Comey) in charge, use it? Because they had nothing !!! “
