The members of “the squad” and other leading democrats are criticized for having used inflammatory rhetoric, which, according to officials of the Trump administration, contributed to the “demonization” and the “dehumanization” of agents of the application of ice laws.
This occurs while the Ministry of Internal Security claims that ICE agents face an increase of 1,000% of attacks in the exercise of their functions.
On Wednesday, a shooter, identified by the FBI like Joshua Jahn, 29, opened fire on an ice field desk in Dallas, killing one and injuring two others. The authorities discovered rounds with the “anti-ice” words engraved on the scene. The shooter committed suicide after the attack, according to the authorities.
After the attack, the press secretary of the White House, Karoline Leavitt, called on the Democrats to change their rhetoric, saying: “Democrats must stop demonizing heroic men and women who simply do their job to ensure the safety of the Americans.”
Despite this, several Democrats have published anti-galades on social networks after the Wednesday attack in Texas.

In a post on X several hours after the shooting, representative Nikki Budzinski, D-ill., Accused ice agents of unleashing “dangerous and reckless” immigration operations “on the public.
“I joined the Illinois delegation in the demanding responses on the dangerous and reckless operations of DHS in our state,” wrote Budzinski. “We refuse to stand up while masked agents trample on a regular procedure, stop our neighbors without discrimination and threaten immigrant communities.”
In a post since deleted, Senator Mark Warner, D-VA., Also criticized the ice agents after the attack, accusing them of “picking up the moms as they put their children at the daycare or the people who are going to work”.
A few days before the attack, representative Robin Kelly, D-ill., Who is also a Democratic senatorial candidate, accused the ice of using “Gestapo tactics” against the American people, affirming that their actions “are a betrayal of the values that we swear to maintain”.
The main democrats have also taken a similar tone against ice agents, including the minority head of the Hakeem Jeffries room, Dn.y., who accused Trump’s Tsar, Tsar Tom Homan, of working to “unleash ice agents masked to the American people”.

Last week, the former Democratic presidential candidate, Senator Elizabeth Warren, D-MASS., Accused the ice of intentionally separating fear and tearing communities.
“Ice targets members of the community without a criminal record”, wrote Warren on X. “The agents are seated outside churches and schools. Driving unmarked vans and break the car windows. These violent ice arrests do not make us more sure – they intentionally loss communities for fear and tear.”
Speaking in the Senate last week, Senator Dick Durbin, D-ill., Accused the federal officials of targeting anyone with “brown skin and a Hispanic family name”.
“The ice stops first and asks questions later,” said Durbin. “I saw the devastating impacts of these policies in my state of Illinois. People are afraid of masked men in unmarked vans who can grasp them at any time because of their appearance or their voice, accent.”

The day before the attack, representative Ilhan Omar, D-minn., Republished an article of short stories deleted since ICE agents to use a 5-year-old autistic child as “bait” to catch his illegal immigrant father. Homeland Security has since challenged the report, saying that father, Edwards Hip Mejia, had abandoned the child after being prosecuted by agents.
Omar republished the story, saying: “It’s vile and beyond cruel. Abolish ice.”
In a position last week, another member of the team, representative Ayanna Pressley, D-MASS., Accused President Donald Trump and ICE agents of a “absolutely shameful” campaign of “terrorizing our communities to the point that students are too afraid to go to school”.
