The senator of the state of Louisiana, Blake Miguez, announced an offer from the American Senate, declaring in a campaign video that he “presents himself for the American Senate because Bill Cassidy is zero”.
The video highlights old images of the republican senator Bill Cassidy, noting that he voted to condemn President Donald Trump. Cassidy voted to condemn after the room dismissed Trump following the riot of the Capitol of January 6, 2021.
However, the Senate’s vote occurred after Trump left his duties, and he finally failed the threshold necessary for the conviction.

The Cassidy campaign press secretary Ashley Bosch said in a statement to Fox News Digital that the senator will win, no matter who throws his hat in the ring.
