The former spokesperson for the White Chamber, Andrew Bates, is in Capitol Hill on Friday morning while the chamber’s supervisory committee continues its investigation into the allegations of a concealment of the inner circle of former president Joe Biden.
He did not speak to journalists en route to his closed-door interview, which is fixed at 10 am and should last in the afternoon.
Bates was a main member of the Biden communications team for almost all of his four -year term, moving from the deputy to the main deputy press secretary when the Democratic chief left his duties in January 2025.
He is the 11th former Biden manager to appear for the survey of the Chamber’s supervisory committee and the ninth to do so voluntarily.
Biden’s long -standing assistant said he had to win up to $ 8 million if the president had re -elected
Bates told investigators to the house’s supervisory committee in an opening declaration obtained by Fox News Digital: “I was proud to support Joe Biden as president because we believe in the same values. In the White House, it was universally understood that Joe Biden was in charge. This is completely consistent with my personal experience with the president.”
He also spent much of his statement to target President Donald Trump.
“Now, someone else with a very different character is in charge. Each republican on the government surveillance and reform committee voted to add 3.4 dollars billions to the national debt in fiscal well -being for the rich. Now the committee spends much more dollars of taxpayers investigating Joe Biden – an honorable man under which the economy was better.”
Three former Aids -Vélos – Anthony Bernal, Annie Tomasini and the former doctor of Maison Blanc Kevin O’Connor – were forced to appear via the assignment of the Congress.
The chairman of the Chamber’s supervisory committee, James Comer, R-Ky., Heard whether Biden’s superior aids have covered signs of mental decline in the former president and if executive decisions were signed via Autopen without the mindfulness of the time.
In particular, they look at the Litania of Clémence’s orders that Biden signed in the second half of his mandate.

“You were a senior assistant press secretary at the White House during the administration of former president Joe Biden. You also occupied communication posts during the Biden 2020 campaign and during the Obama-Biden administration. Other than Karine Jean-Pierre, you were one of the most important public defenders of former Biden Biden President,” Bates at Bates at the end of June.
“The scope of your responsibilities – both official and otherwise – and personal interactions within the Oval Office cannot go without investigation, given the growing evidence that President Biden was invalid for many, if not all of his mandate,” continued the letter.

The Democrats, on the other hand, portrayed the investigation as an unnecessary look back.
Commer had previously described the thanks to the Democratic team for Biden witnesses as trivial, accusing them of spending little or no time trying to glean significant information.

He said that after the interview with another spokesperson for Biden, Ian Sams, “The interrogations of the Democrats … perhaps lasted three minutes. They let him read an opening declaration, and they made their base: what is your favorite color? And who is your favorite cartoon character?”
Representative Robert Garcia, D-Calif., The best democrat of the committee, said before the Bates interview on Thursday: “I think the important of this investigation is the Republicans, surely on the supervisory committee, they seem obsessed with the health care of Joe Biden and Joe Biden.”
“They should make their efforts and focus on American public health care, compared to the obsession for Joe Biden and what he has done, he has not done. It was in the past, we are trying to move forward,” said Garcia.
