Despite his socialist proposals, the New York town hall candidate, Zohran Mamdani, has several millionaires supporting his candidacy in the middle of his calls to tax the rich to finance large social programs.

James Hueston, a 27-year-old venture capital, is part of a group called the Mamdani millionaires in a Wall Street Journal play published Monday.

“In my eyes, I should absolutely pay for my just part for the people who need it,” a hunt on the newspaper told. “I don’t think it increases taxation for good. I think it does it to finance very explicitly good policies.”
