The Senate of the State of Texas approved Tuesday evening the cards of new Republicans, which led the Democrats of the Chamber to Texas to flee the State.

While the Democrats of the Chamber of Texas remain on the LAM in order to obstruct the legislative procedure carried out by the Republicans to redraw the cards of the State Congress, the Senate was always able to obtain a quorum and to pass the cards. They must now have passed through the house, but we don’t know when possible.

During the vote, nine democrats left the prosecution to protest, but two stayed on the ground, which allowed the Senate to reach a quorum. The vote to adopt the new cards finally obtained the approval of the Senate after a vote of 19-2.

“This redistribution of mid -December does not concern a fair representation – these are politicians who choose their voters instead that voters choose their leaders,” said the Democratic Caucus of the Senate in a statement, according to Texas Tribune. “And that doesn’t stop here. If they can gerrymander now, they can and will do it before each election.”

The Texas Republicans began to put pressure on new cards after the Trump administration ordered state officials they violated the law on voting rights.

Civil mandates were issued by the republican majority of the Texas Chamber last week in order to force the absent democrats to return, but they are only enforceable in state lines and do not lead to prison terms, because the mandates are not criminals.

However, Texas Republicans seek to use “each legal appeal at our disposal to keep these responsible thug legislators,” said Texas Gop prosecutor Ken Paxton.

In addition to blocking the draft law of the Texas Republicans, the exodus of the Democrats of Texas prevents crucial legislation from making its way through the Legislative Assembly, Senator Mayes Middleton told Fox News Digital.
