The Republicans slam Jay Jones on violent messages to the GOP party leader

Democratic colleagues are held near Virginia Attorney General, General candidate Jay Jones, without any call to leave the race despite his horrible text messages that recently surfaced.

In 2022, text messages to a colleague, Jones said that he hoped that the former republican president of the Todd Gilbert Chamber would die. In a series of messages, he doubled, saying that such sorrow could be “a good thing” if it advanced his policy. Candidate for the Democratic Governor Abigail Spanberger condemned the messages, but stopped calling him to end his campaign.

“I will always condemn a violent language in our policy,” said Spanberger, adding that she had spoken “frankly” with him after the texts surfaced.

Meanwhile, Virginie Jason Miyares’ republican prosecutor general and Lieutenant-Governor WinSome Earle-Sears suddenly criticized Jones during the weekend, saying that his text messages recently published in 2022 are raising serious questions about his ability.

“Jay Jones showed that he was reckless, biased and willing to exchange his integrity,” wrote Miyares in an open letter to Virginians, published on social networks on Saturday evening. “This driving is disqualifying.”

The letter from Miyares highlighted what is at stake in the race.

“If you believe that it is normal to wish the death of a political opponent, vote for my opponent,” he wrote. “If you believe that it is worth the death of children to advance your political goals, vote for my opponent. If you want to give a green light to violent madmen, vote for my opponent.”

Miyares said that he will protect each Virginian, “whether democrats or republicans”, adding that he “cannot imagine someone who presents himself for this position that pleads for violence”.

Speaking on October 4, Earle-Sears decreed moral decrease in politics and said that he had no deal of his functions.

“The enemy is with us, devouring us in Virginia and America today,” said Sears. “Jay Jones fantasizes about murdered little children lying in life in their mother’s arms. And yet, he presents himself for the Attorney General, our head of the police.”

Jones apologized sinceCalling the “embarrassing and shameful” remarks, and said he had personally contacted Gilbert and his family.
