Most Republicans are ready to grant great deference to President Donald Trump to strike Iran – without the authorization of the congress to strike in a sovereign territory in another country.

There are concerns that the president’s aggressive action could take off certain pro -maga supporters – simply because Trump campaigned against participation in conflicts abroad.

There are also divisions among democrats. Pro-Israeli democrats have asked the United States to strike Iran due to the threat it poses for Israel.
