The House Republicans call for a more in -depth examination of the approximately 1,500 switching orders signed by President Joe Biden at the end of his mandate after the revelations that an autopen was used for a significant number of them.

“The Americans deserve the responsibility of their leaders. If an automatic has been used to forgive hundreds of people, thousands of people, including the president’s son, who made this decision? Is it Joe Biden? Or was it a staff member who used an automatic?” The president of the Ways & Means committee, Jason Smith, R-MO., Said in a brief interview with Fox News Digital.

THE New York Times reported earlier this month that automobile signatures had been used on leniency orders in recent months of Biden’s White House mandate.

Biden told the point of sale that he had made “each decision” and that the report details a meticulous process of Biden making its decision to this decision recorded by the aid and sent by an e -mail communication chain – suggesting that the president of the time had a final signature.

But the report notes: “Times has not seen the complete extent of the emails, it is therefore impossible to capture all of the information they contain or what they could show on the involvement of Mr. Biden in the decisions of Pardon and Clémence.”

Representative Mark Messmer, R-Ind., Suggreed forgiveness decisions taken in the last hours of the day should be examined in particular.

“I think we have to strongly examine the use of automotive signatures that have been launched at 10:45 p.m., well beyond the normal day of cognitive activity of the president, must be questioned,” said Messmer.

The report noted a case where the last word on a particular set of leniency orders was sent just after 10:30 p.m.

Times had reported in July 2024Before abandoning the presidential race, Biden said that he would stop planning events after 20 hours due to the need for sleep.

Representative Brandon Gill, R-Texas, argued that legislators needed more information on who controlled these signatures for public confidence.

“What people want is responsibility. They want to know that what has been done on behalf of our president who was elected, that he really has the responsibility,” said Gill.

Another legislator suggested that the courts should even examine the cancellation.

“Maybe some of the pardons and things can be canceled,” said representative John McGuire, R-VA., Said. “We will leave the courts in the courts to understand this.”

The representative Andrew Cylde, R-GA., Went further: “It must be corrected. He must be studied. And these people, in my opinion, should really be prosecuted for leaving the limits of the Constitution.”

The Chamber’s Supervisory Committee, led by President James Comer, R-Ky., Survey already in the use of the Biden of Autopen administration and if the old best aids in the White House have hidden evidence of mental decline of the time.

The former chief of staff of the white room Ronald Klain is the last person who should appear in front of the room investigators, with a voluntary interview transcribed on Thursday morning.

Biden’s democratic allies smashed the investigation as a political spectacle rather than an honest mission that was first.

But all the Republican legislators who spoke with Fox News Digital have at least argued to a certain extent that the Americans wish a responsibility, although some have suggested that it would be advantageous to concentrate efforts on the future.

“I have to balance my reflections on this subject. I think, you know, it is good to know what happened, from preventing it from happening … But on the other hand, I really want to be focused on the future,” said the representative Troy Downing, R-Mont. “But I will tell you, speculation – even if I obviously do not know 100% which is true or not – I think that speculation is very likely, just to see who Biden was at the end of his mandate and knowing that this did not happen overnight.”

The Blake Moore representative, Rutah, vice-president of House Gop Conference, told Fox News Digital: “Regarding the previous administration, what is done is done, but it is also good to highlight the American people, okay, you were in some cases.”

In particular, Autopen is a standard and legal practice that has been used by officials in many previous cases, notably by President Donald Trump. House investigators look at if Biden has really made the final disconnection itself on key decisions.
