The Republican presents Biden Act to prohibit Autopen for certain presidential signatures

The representative Addison McDowell, RN.C., presented a bill which would declare that the invoices, the decrees, the pardons and the switches absorbed by the president can only be signed by the president, and an automatic device cannot be used.

The measure is called “prohibition of directives without interruption and the notarninations of executives of 2025” or the Biden Act.

The bill would modify the current law to add: “Notwithstanding this article or any other law provision, no person other than the president may slightly sign a bill absorbed by a bill, a decree or a forgiveness or a switching, nor the automatic signature system, including an autopen, be used for this purpose.”

“No bill, executive decree or switching or switching or switching which has been signed in violation of article 301 of title 3, of the United States code, including a bill, executive decree or a forgiveness or switching signed before the effective date of this law, may be considered as having a force or an effect,” also declares the bill.
