The Kansas City chiefing receiver, Rashee Rice, will participate in a training camp at the training camp despite his conviction at 30 days in prison after his involvement in a chain reaction car accident that made people injured last year in Dallas.
Head coach Andy Reid said that Rice, who has had a season in small groups of his year recruited in 2023, will be seen throughout the training camp, but he will not comment if he will be able to participate fully during the regular season.
Reid said the NFL had not told him what their discipline will be, which is planned, for rice. For the moment, the chiefs will work as they would normally prepare rice and the rest of the team for week 1.

“We are going to progress as usual with him,” said Reid. “He will enter and take all the representatives he will take normally. We always turn this position. According to what is happening here with the future – the one who needs playing will intervene and know what they are doing and will be in good shape to do it.”
Rice pleaded guilty to two accusations of crime in the third degree of collision involving serious bodily and racing injuries on a highway causing bodily injuries during the March 2024 accident.

The rice was sentenced to five years of deferred probation as well as 30 days in prison as a condition of his probation, which was part of a plea agreement.
The Dallas County District Prosecutor’s office said Rice was also required to pay the accident victims for direct medical expenses, which amounted to $ 115,000.
It was determined that the rice led a Lamborghini Urus to 119 MPH when it swerved around traffic and hit vehicles, causing the chain’s reaction accident on North Central Expressway. Prosecutors said Rice had not checked the people involved in the accident and fled on foot.

Rice published a statement following the accident, claiming that he “would assume full responsibility on my part in this case”. In a press release published by his lawyer, Rice said that he had “a lot of white nights thinking about the damage that my actions have caused, and I will continue to work according to my means to make sure that everyone affected will be made whole”.
With the legal process completed, the NFL can now go through their own process to determine how it could discipline Rice, which will go to its third NFL season.
Rice had left hot in 2024, seeking to go in the same direction after his recruit saw 79 receptions for 938 yards and seven affected launched by Patrick Mahomes. Rice played a role in the chiefs winning their second consecutive Super Bowl this season.
In 2024, Rice succeeded 24 caught for 288 yards with two affected in just three games. However, week 4 turned out to be a nightmare when he torn his LCL while trying to make a tackle after an interception of Mahomas against Los Angeles loaders. It costs rice all season.

Since then, Rice has recovered and participated in the team’s off -season program. Reid said that Rice would not be limited in the training camp, which means that it is 100%ready.
However, while he is preparing for the 2025 season, the potential discipline of the NFL will take place above his head until the word comes from the league.
